It's common this time of year to hear people say they're cutting sugar from their diet as a New Year's Resolution. We'll hear things like no added sugars, the low sugar diet, or I'm cutting sweets out altogether. In this episode we explore the question, should sugar be eliminated from our diet?

We're going to be challenging some mindsets around glucose, talking about the differences between glucose, fructose, and sucrose, how our body uses glucose to create energy with our mitochondria, and some of the negative health implications of overconsumption of sugar. And we'll also be sharing some very easy and practical tips for balancing our glucose levels without necessarily needing to give up our favorite treats.
