When most people think about hormonal health they tend to limit their thinking to just the "sex hormones." Such as Testosterone and Estrogen. However our bodies are made up of many many more forms of hormones (like insulin, ghrelin, adrenaline, thyroid, and so many more) which all work together like an orchestra. Meaning if one hormone gets off balance, all the rest try to adjust in order to make up for or adapt to the imbalance. Which wreaks havoc on our body's systems, our energy, our mood, and so much more.
So in this episode we talk about the many forms of hormones as well as how we can achieve and maintain balance so we can keep that beautiful symphony playing in harmony, and feel like the best version of ourselves.
